The bittersweet arguments thereby leading to days of separation has been portrayed very subtly in this touching number. The lyrics have been written in Punjabi and Hindi and therefore a slow Ghazal like feeling is acquired here. This melody has very conversational and emotional lyrics that indeed strike the chords of our hearts. Vishal and Shekhar as usual are at their best. They have created a melody that not only soothes the soul but also makes the listener come back to it again and again. The guitars and the plucky instruments have been mixed and matched brilliantly and this jugalbandi of the musical instruments is a treat to the ears. Arijit Singh is beyond all praise. With his velvety smooth vocals and that baritone voice he has again given us another stellar performance. He adds that doleful charm to this song and compels us to hear this number on loop.
