Linkin Park Numb Guitar Chords with Capo & Strumming [Easy]

Linkin Park was a band that united people from all over the world. It was not just a group of musicians but an emotion. It was a band which gave us songs for the millennium. Numb from their second album Meteora, is one such songs composed by them. From the nu metal and alternative rock genre, this melody was one of those gems that everyone could relate to. With Chester Bennington’s powerful vocals, Mike Shinoda’s accompanying back vocals and the bass and electric guitars, piano, drums and percussion and the sampler and turntablisms at the background, this track was one of the most popular chartbuster released twelve long years ago. The chords on the guitar are of the novice level of difficulty. The progression is rapid and harmonious. The tempo is quite fast with a signature 4/4 beat. The song is evergreen and is still remains afresh in our hearts.

Song Information: This soundtrack is beyond praise. It’s one of the most perfect songs that was ever made. With the soothing and soulful music in spite of being a rock metal, makes us attracted to this song from the very first time we hear it. Numb is one of those musical pieces that talks about the feelings of an introvert teenager who has been outcast and ignored by everyone around her. Well this is a feeling everyone at some point has encountered specially during the time of puberty. That’s why the number is so endearing to the masses specially to the teens. The song is also enchanting because of Chester’s intensely powerful and sturdy vocals. His enigmatic voice has a very insanely dulcet yet strong tonal quality and that’s why the melancholic expressions and the angry outburst, both have been beautifully brought out to us by his voice. He sings the verses in a very gentle and smooth manner and shows the strength of his voice in the chorus.

More About the Song: Numb will always forever hold a very special place in our hearts. Not because of its emotionally relatable lyrics and the catchy and addictive tune , but because of the nostalgia it brings to us. This was the melody we used to listen when we grew up and this song was our sole companion when we were ignored, abandoned or were too pressurised by some burden and were left all alone. The song was the only mate we had when life was turbulent . And every millennial teen and the kid of course had the entire lyrics by heart as this melody was a part of our lives then. Linkin Park gifted us some melodies that will forever be relished and Numb is one of them. Though Chester is no more with us physically, but Numb will forever immortalise him and he will never be forgotten as long as mankind exists. The song is till today one of everybody’s favourite songs, and if you want to relive the good old teenage days once again or maybe pay a homage to the singer-Chester, who gifted us with some evergreen unforgettable songs that will be always cherished; strum the chords on your guitar or play it on your piano and enjoy those good old memories that will come rushing back to you.
