The song is appealing amongst the youth because they can relate to the lyrics. This song shows how hard Shah Rukh Khan tries to impress the woman that he loves. The struggle that he goes through and his willingness to strive for the best can be understood from the upbeat of the song Ann Bann.

It was delightful to hear Kunal Ganjawala’s melodious voice after a long break. The song is a situational song. Though it got many views on social media but numerous people who have not watched the film are still unaware of the song.Lyrics given by Irshad Kamil are brilliantly penned down. The words are crafted into a poetry of love and companionship .The music directors, Atul and Ajay practiced blend orchestration with electronic synthesizers and rock in some parts which made the song interesting. There is an amazing flute solo in the song which was appreciated among the youth. Other than the flute solo, there was also a lot of use of the violin which was pleasing to the ears. The vocals are also good and well controlled.
