All About Music Conference by YouTube Music India 2019 | Mumbai
Music is an art. It is an emotion. It is a healing touch to the millions of people in the world out there. Not only does it help to set the mood right, it also provides relief and an expression to let out some hidden pain and grief. Music is an integral part of our lives. Without music humans cannot survive. Thus to help in the uplift and development of the music industry, every year YouTube Music India has taken an initiative to organise a two days’ workshop event where maestros and musicians from all over the world come together to speak and discuss about the problems that are encountered by the industry and what steps can be taken by the industry to grow and progress. This workshop is a conference where a vast amount of knowledge is shared and the panelists talk about networking, connections, keynotes and other valuable information.

This conference had first been held in Mumbai in the year 2017. A lot of eminent musicians like Amit Trivedi, Ajay- Atul, Jassie Gill, Harrdy Sandhu to name some had come together to conduct the workshops. This exchange programme attracted a large number of people and gave a huge encouragement to all those versatile musicians out there to hone their skills and showcase their talents on such a huge platform as this once. Quality content, 5 keynotes, 5 masterclasses and talks on the independent music was the key highlight of the conference. Ariijt Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Armaan Malik were some of the renowned singers to come together and grace the event.
The second edition of this amazing event was held once again in Mumbai in 2018 where Bob Ezrin, Hariharan, Parmish Verma and Papon were some of the famous musicians who were the speakers and these panelists increased the glamour of the workshop. There were more than 1000 attendees and the workshop was a huge success. Regional music, outreaching programmes, marketing of music, promoting music on YouTube and growth of the Indie music genre are some of the areas that were given a lot of attention. The keynotes were increased to 8 and many new topics were discussed like the revenue of the music industry and the emergence of music apps like JioSaavn (Formerly Saavn). Success stories were shared and the masterclasses covered a lot of important concepts like mixing and mastering. Badshah, Mohit Chauhan, Raftaar and Varun Sharma were some of the brilliant musicians who had come and put forward their views and opinions.
After the huge favorable outcome of the event, here comes the third installment of this workshop which is to be held on 27-28th of August, at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Over 950 content creators will participate in this event this time. Some of the notable speakers this year are Benny Dayal, Emiway Bantai, Bickram Ghosh and Gajendra Verma. Journalists, business market heads and all the other powerful dignitaries related to music companies and music will be a part of this global workshop. This year, it will be more exciting as there will be a lot of new discussions. New issues will be covered and a lot of surprises are waiting for the participants.
